Gwyneth Paltrow Named Most-Hated Celebrity In Hollywood

Gwyneth Paltrow has topped Star magazine’s list of the 20 most hated celebrities in Hollywood.

The actress’ often controversial views landed her the number one spot on the list, before the names many would expect, such as tabloid fixtures Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber.

Paltrow has been criticized for everything from her children’s names — Apple and Moses — to her opinion of how good she is at her job (“really f***ing good,” in case you were wondering), to why she chooses to live in London instead of the United States (because she thinks the British “are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans”).

Coming in second was Kristen Stewart, who earned the scorn of thousands when she admitted that she cheated on boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson with the married director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders. This is the second time this year Stewart has landed on a less-than-desirable list this year; the 23-year-old was named the least sexy Hollywood actress in February by British website Menkind.

Perhaps surprisingly, the number three spot went to Jennifer Lopez, who has remained relatively under the radar since quitting American Idol last summer. The singer and actress did stir up a bit of controversy, however, for her ABC show The Fosters, which premieres this June and stars Teri Polo and Sherri Saum as a lesbian couple who raise their son, two adopted sons, and a teenager who has been in and out of foster care.

Spots four and five went to John Mayer and Katherine Heigl, who was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award (or “Razzie”) for Worst Actress for her role as Stephanie Plum in the film adaptation of Janet Evanovich’s One for the Money.

Anne Hathaway, who was slammed for BAFTA speech in February, came in ninth. Mother-to-be Kim Kardashian came in at number 11, while her “momager” took the number 10 spot.

Spots 16 to 20 went to Lindsay Lohan, Shia LaBeouf, Taylor Swift, Jesse James, and Chris Brown, respectively.
