BioShock Infinite is at the top of the UK Sales charts for a third straight week.
The game held off Tomb Raider for another week, although it appears that Lara Croft’s title is making a bit of a late surge. Reports indicate that just 2,500 copies sold separate the top two games.
That number is quite impressive when you think about the fact that Tomb Raider has been out on the market for quite a bit longer.
There wasn’t a whole lot of movement inside the top 10 games when it came to sales this week. FIFA 13 managed to rise another spot to the third spot on the sales chart .
BioShock Infinite ‘s claim at the top spot doesn’t seem to be getting a real challenge anytime soon. While Injustice: Gods Among Us releases tomorrow, that doesn’t seem to have the support to actually knock the latest iteration of the BioShock series off the top of the list.
Defiance , while still managing to stay inside the top five, did fall one spot to number four. Luigi’s Mansion 2 is also seeing quite a bit of popularity despite the limited number of platforms it is being offered on.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 rounded out the top five at number five. Looking at the rest of the top 10, Call of Duty: Black Ops II managed to sell enough to still remain one of the most popular games on the market.
Assassin’s Creed III, Gears of War: Judgement, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, and Far Cry 3 completed the top 10.
At the bottom of the list, SimCity has fallen quite a ways from when it debuted in the top five. The always on title is not barely holding onto the top 25 at the 19th spot in the rankings.
Do you think BioShock Infinite will be hold onto the top spot in the rankings for a fourth straight week?
