Kris Humphries A No-Show At Divorce Hearing

Kim Kardashian and her basketball star ex-husband were supposed to appear at a Los Angeles court today for a mandatory hearing before their divorce trial. The reality star was there but Kris Humphries was a no-show.

Kim was at the courthouse for about three hours and answered several questions from Judge Hank Goldberg. A settlement was not reached today but Kim definitely scored some points with the judge.

According to his lawyers, Humphries, who was recently sued by a clothing company for $50,000, missed the hearing due to a mix-up or a delay with his flight. His lawyers were present at the hearing today and said that the trial is still set for May 6.

TMZ reports that Judge Hank Goldberg was furious with Humphries for wasting the court’s time and may decide to fine Kris for missing his mandatory appearance. The judge set up a sanctions hearing for Humphries, which E! Online reports is on May 2, and will question the NBA player about why he missed the hearing.

The NY Daily News reports that Humphries and Kardashian will head to court next month to determine if their marriage was a sham. Humphries wants an annulment from Kardashian saying that she never loved him and only wanted to marry him for her show.

Kardashian, who was only married to Humphries for 72 days, said at the time of the divorce: “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision… I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.”
