Cyndi Lauper Is ‘Hot’ Tweet Gets Quickly Deleted By Rep. Steve Cohen
Rep. Steve Cohen seems to be a little ashamed about his crush on Cyndi Lauper. The congressman wrote that Cyndi Lauper was “hot” in a recent tweet but deleted the message fearing that he’d be teased for loving the 80s icon.
Well, Cohen hasn’t given an exact reason as to why he deleted his “Cyndi Lauper is hot” tweet but one can only assume that it was out of embarrassment.
Not because Cyndi Lauper isn’t hot but because Cohen still hasn’t figured out to work the space bar on Twitter.
Lauper wrote on Twitter: “@cyndilauper great night, couldn’t believe how hot u were.see you again next Tuesday.try a little tenderness.”
According to the Washington Post, Cohen deleted the tweet after only 20 minutes.
But don’t worry, the congressman found another avenue to give Lauper praise. Coehn took to the House floor to compliment the singer on her performance during the Memphis Soul Night.
Cohen said: “While there were a lot of great performers there, I want to put a particular shout out to Miss Cyndi Lauper. She’s special … I would suggest to my colleagues in the other side they ought to try a little tenderness on occasion.”
This isn’t the first time that Cohen has caused a stir on Twitter. Earlier this year, the congressman used his Twitter account to his on a young woman during the State of the Union address. At least that’s how it was reported. The woman was actually Cohen’s secret daughter that he had just started to reconnect with.
