Lindsay Lohan Grilled By David Letterman About Drugs, Rehab [Video]

Lindsay Lohan didn’t find the time this week to go to court but she did manage to find the time to sit down next to David Letterman.

Lohan would have rather been in court.

Letterman grilled the actress about her recent arrests and her upcoming stint in rehab.

Letterman, who is know for being a blunt interview, asked Lohan: “Aren’t you supposed to be in rehab right now?”

The question seemed to catch Loahn off guard. The actress tried to make a joke about Letterman’s lack of tabloid knowledge but the talk show host wasn’t about to change directions.

Letterman asked why she was going to rehab, how many times she’s been in rehab, and what Lohan is going to do differently this time around.

Lohan may have been caught by surprise but to her credit she did give Letterman a good, probably rehearsed, answer.

Lohan said: “To be honest, I’m happiest and healthiest what I’m working. And I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life. And I don’t think it’s a bad thing, I think it’s a blessing.”

Letterman continued with the questions (What are you addicted to? Do you drink too much?) and Lohan did her best to avoid talking about her drug problem.

Lohan said: “You sound like Dr. Phil right now.”
