Halle Berry Pregnant With Second Child [Report]
Halle Berry is reportedly pregnant with her second child, her first with fiancé and fellow actor Olivier Martinez.
Sources connected with Berry and Martinez told TMZ that the 46-year-old is about three months pregnant, but the website believes she may be further along based on pictures and other evidence.
The couple also reportedly knows the baby’s sex, and it appears that Berry’s daughter Nahla will be getting a little brother by the end of the year.
Photos of Berry at the Oscars gives the slightest impression of a baby bump, and a source said Berry was feeling sick and complained that she had gained some weight. A couple of days later, the Oscar winner found out that she was pregnant.
If Halle Berry is indeed pregnant, this will be the second child for her and the first for her 47-year-old fiance. Her 5-year-old daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, Nahla, was born on March 16, 2008. The couple, who had been dating since November 2005, announced their separation on April 30, 2010. Berry began dating Martinez that same year, and the two became engaged in March 2012.
After Berry and Aubry broke up, however, the two were involved in a nasty custody battle. Berry wanted to move to Martinez’s native France, and she wanted to take Nahla with her. Aubry objected to the move and said it would interfere with the joint custody agreement the two had in place. A judge denied Berry’s request in November 2012 and, on Thanksgiving Day, Aubry and Martinez were involved in a physical altercation at Berry’s Los Angeles home. Aubry was bringing Nahla home and Martinez allegedly told him, “We have to move on.”
Aubry didn’t appreciate the comment and pushed Martinez, which resulted in an all-out brawl. Aubry suffered a broken rib and a possible head injury, and Martinez suffered a broken hand an neck injuries. Both men were treated at a hospital, and Martinez was granted a temporary restraining order that prevented Aubry from coming within 100 yards of him, Berry, and Nahla. Aubry was granted his own restraining order shortly afterward.
On November 29, a week after the brawl, Berry’s lawyer announced that she and Aubry had reached an amicable custody agreement.
