Ryan Gosling Flips Out On Photographer For Calling Eva Mendes ‘Baby’

Do you want to stay on Ryan Gosling’s good side? If so, you may not want to call his girlfriend, Eva Mendes baby or any other affectionate terms the next time you see the pair outside.

The pair were spotted in New York at the Bowery Hotel Friday to support their film The Place Beyond the Pines. Gosling and Mendes were currently in town for the premiere of the film when the cat calling happened.

According to a report, a New York fashion photographer, who had recently shot Eva Mendes for a shoot, saw the beauty and shouted “Hey baby!” which didn’t sit well with Gosling. Ryan reportedly flipped out on the photographer.

An eyewitness gave more information on the brief heated moment, “Ryan completely flipped out, and it got heated. Ryan got in the guy’s face and said, ‘Who are you calling baby?’ Eva had to jump in and calm everyone down before it came to fisticuffs. Ryan then made nice and shook the guy’s hand.”

Gosling and Mendes have been characteristically quiet about their romance since the pair started dating last September. The two met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines and hit it off well. However, Gosling hasn’t gone public with his lady, opting to take his mother to red carpets including the premiere and Svedka-sponsored party for the film. Mendes, who went stag, decided to turn up 45 minutes after the rest of the cast.

During the premiere, an eyewitness at the hotel said Gosling and Mendes barely interacted with each other, with the source saying, “They stayed at opposite ends of the room from one another.”

The only person that got near an exclusive on the couple is funny talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. While Mendes visited her show back in May, DeGeneres brought up Gosling to the shy Mendes as she hid her embarrassment while hiding her head.
