Sandy Hook Shooting Survivors Hans and Audra Barth Left Homeless By Fire
Sandy Hook shooting survivors have been left homeless by a fire.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, details about the Sandy Hook shooting investigation are slowly coming out. For example, it was revealed that Adam Lanza fired 154 rounds from his Bushmaster rifle in under five minutes:
“Authorities found at least nine knives, three Samurai swords, two guns and a 7-foot, wood-handled pole with a blade on one side and a spear on the other … Authorities also recovered a National Rifle Association certificate, seven of Lanza’s journals, drawings that he made and books from the house, including an NRA guide to the basics of pistol shooting.”
When the Sandy Hook shooting survivors went back to school, they went to an unused school about seven miles away from Newtown in Monroe. But now a Newtown home was destroyed by a fire this week. The owners, whose children survived the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in December, are now left homeless.
Monsignor Robert Wise of St. Rose of Lima Church says that Hans and Audra Barth and their three children are now homeless. The Sandy Hook shooting survivors have lost everything in the fire including their pet dog and several baby chickens. The American Red Cross has temporarily housed them in a hotel and the St. Rose of Lima Church is collecting donations for the family.
One of the Barth children was a first-grader in teacher Kaitlin Roig’s classroom. Kaitlin Roig is famous for barricading her students in a bathroom to protect them against the rampage of Adam Lanza.
Patti Lansing has been asked by the Barth family to act as a point of contact for donations. Lansing says, “They need everything. But the main concern is that they don’t have anywhere to put it right now.”
