‘Black Ops 2’ Next DLC Rumored To Feature Zombies
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is rumored to be getting a new DLC pack titled Uprising. In this new DLC, there will supposedly be a new map, a new playable level and Mob of the Dead.
Treyarch studios has apparently already shed light on what Mob of the Dead is through a new Xbox Live blurb. The company has termed Mob as the ” most terrifying Zombies experience to date.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been an extremely popular title since its December release the developers have been working hard to make sure they are able to monetize that popularity.
The game’s makers just announced yesterday that microtransactions are coming to the game in the very near future, as well as the Nuketown 2025 map.
This other, zombie themed and for now only rumored DLC will have a new map most likely called Vertigo. This was actually a map that was intended for but eventually scrapped back in the Modern Warfare 2 days.
This tidbit of information was discovered by a Call of Duty community member and a popular YouTube user. Victor and MrDalekJD discovered a line of code on the Call of Duty site.
When the pair did a little digging into the line of code, they were able to track down the Xbox Live explanation. Of the findings, only “Studio” remains a bit of a mystery.
Because no one involved directly with the game has commented on whether or not this DLC is coming soon, or even exists we’ll have to wait and see what the rest of this new pack includes.
Merging these war games with a zombie attack has proved to be a pretty good move for video games in the past and it could certainly be interesting to see how this game pulls it off.
Do you think the Uprising DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is really coming?
