Rock legend Alice Cooper has offered a fan the chance to play golf with him, for the paltry sum of $10,000.
This chance is part of a current Kickstarter campaign that is looking to raise funds for Uncle Alice Presents . This is a comic and graphic novel series created by Tom Sheppard that features Cooper as the narrator, who has been described as a “demented, blood-soaked host.”
This campaign is looking to raise $200,000. In order to generated this amount, they are selling voicemail messages from the musician, a framed oil painting, editions of the comic book and novel, which will arrive once they have been published, as well as the golf game.
There are rules and regulations to play this game with Cooper though. It will only take place at a golf course of Cooper’s choosing in Phoenix, Arizona, and you must be an experienced player too.
Earlier this month, Cooper revealed that he was a lightweight drunk compared to his friend Jim Morrison and Amy Winehouse, both of whom died at the age of 27.
“Nobody could talk Jim Morrison out of dying. I was a drunk, but I was a lightweight compared to him, and nobody could talk him out of where he was going. Jim was gonna go there and that was it. Same with Amy. I don’t think anybody could’ve talked Amy out of where she was going.”
Cooper also offered advice to Justin Bieber after the young pop star threw up on stage in Phoenix. “He came into Phoenix, comes up on stage, turns his back to the audience and throws up,” remarked Cooper.
“I said, in the press, ‘Justin, just as a note of professional rock & roll, never turn your back when you throw up. Let the audience see you throw up … because that’s a moment they’re gonna remember. Make sure the lights are on you when you throw up,” concluded the rocker.
