Upton Too Busy For Teen’s Prom
Kate Upton has revealed that she is simply too busy to attend a teenager’s prom.
The Sports Illustrated model said her schedule won’t allow her to attend senior prom with Los Angeles high school student Jake Davidson.
Upton had previously stated that she would try to make the date.
“How could I turn down that video! I’ll check my schedule,” she tweeted.
Now that she’s had a moment to look of her calendar, it would appear that Kate Upton is too busy to attend prom with Davidson. The model broke the bad news to the folks at People.
“I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go with him or not, due to my schedule. I want to, but I just don’t know if I can make it work. But I really appreciated being asked; it made me feel really great!” Upton explained.
She added, “When a guy has a good sense of humor and confidence, that’s attractive. This video was creative and funny. It made me laugh, and everyone loves a good laugh!”
Unfortunately for Davidson, Upton’s schedule in May is already booked up. Although she was clearly impressed with his effort, there’s apparently no wiggle room on the calendar for a senior prom.
The 17-year-old high school student posted his video last week. Since he didn’t have a date to the prom, Davidson decided to try his luck with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. It didn’t take long for the clip to go viral.
“I’m gonna be real with you here, I don’t have a girlfriend, and with prom season coming around, that could be problematic for some. But I’m me, I’m Optimus Prime, and I see the glass half full,” Jake said in his video to Upton.
He added, “You’re the ying to my yang, I’m Jewish, 5’9 on a really good day — and I can’t dance at all. You’re Christian, 5’10, and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film — you could say this is destiny.”
Unfortunately for Davidson, destiny apparently has other plans at the moment. Unless something chances between now and then, it would appear Kate Upton is simply too busy to attend his prom.
