Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Attend ‘The Voice’ Premiere Together
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton appeared together at NBC’s premiere of The Voice at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Wednesday.
Earlier reports suggested that Lambert had split from Shelton after discovering he had cheated with up-and-coming musician Cady Groves. If there was tension between them, then nobody seemed to notice it at the premiere party.
“They posed together on the carpet for a few pictures with their arms around each other. Then Miranda went straight in as Blake began his interviews,” an insider explained.
Rumors started swirling earlier this week that the couple was on the verge of separating after Blake Shelton was discovered having an affair. While several news organizations were quick to pick up on the rumor, the musician laughed them off.
“I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart!” Shelton wrote on Twitter. It didn’t take long for his wife to issue a response on the matter.
“Oh no! Can’t wait to read if we make it or not,” Miranda Lambert tweeted.
Although Lambert and Blake Shelton might be laughing off rumors about their marriage, the Nashville Star winner has other issues to contend with at the moment. She reportedly got into a heated exchange with the owner of an antique store in Oklahoma.
Reports suggested that Lambert threatened to punch the owner of the shop after she accused the woman of stealing her property. Miranda owns a business just a few doors down from where the incident allegedly took place.
“She had a complete meltdown and threatened to ‘punch me in the mouth’ if I kept talking,” owner Melanie Peden said. “I was stunned and a little bit scared too, because she was growling and yelling at me like a crazy lady.”
The antique shop owner added, “She’s got a real anger problem and needs help. But I stood my ground and asked her to leave my store.”
