Juice Wrld Inked A $3 Million Deal With Interscope Records In 2018

Juice Wrld broke onto the music scene in 2018. He shot to fame with his hit single “Lucid Dreams” and quickly rocketed to the top of the charts. Juice Wrld’s career took off after he teamed up with rappers like Lil Uzi Vert and Travis Scott. He inked a $3 million deal with Interscope Records last year, according to Billboard. He had an estimated net worth of $6 million.

In an interview with Complex, Juice Wrld said that he was surprised to get the attention of a record label so early on in his career.

“That was crazy. I don’t know. To this day, it hasn’t settled in yet. That’s how I want it to be, though. I don’t want to get lost in everything. I just want to keep the same work ethic. There’s still things to be done and points to be proven. Money to be made, you know? I want to keep that same mentality because when artists stop and think about everything and realize, like, ‘I just got a multi-million dollar contract,’ I think that’s when I think they get, quote-unquote, lost in the sauce,” he told the outlet.

Juice Wrld always wanted to make people happy with his music. In fact, he told Complex that was the goal of his album.

“I want people to be happy. I like making people happy with my music. I like giving people a good time with my music,” he said.

He released his first album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, in 2018. He released his second studio album, Death Race for Love, back in March.

Juice Wrld’s Twitter account has 1 million followers, and he has nearly 8 million followers on Instagram. At this year’s Billboard Music Awards, Juice Wrld took home the award for Top New Artist.
