Lindsay Lohan Will Spend 90 Days In ‘Locked Rehab’
Lindsay Lohan will spend 90 days in a lock rehabilitation facility in order to avoid jail time.
The troubled actress reportedly entered pleas of no contest to charges stemming from a traffic violation last year. In order to avoid going to jail for violating her probation, Lohan will now spend 90 days in rehab.
“This is it. You violate your probation, and we’re not going to have discussions of putting you back on probation,” Los Angeles Superior Judge James Dabney said.
He added, “A suggestion — don’t drive.”
Lohan was originally sentenced to jail time for violating her probation. She was to serve a total of 95 days on both charges. However, Judge Dabney is allowing the actress to serve her time in rehab instead.
Lindsay Lohan will spend 90 days inside a locked rehabilitation facility. She will not be permitted to leave at any point during her stay.
“You really need to understand,” Dabney told the actress. “Please take this seriously.”
In addition to the three months she will spend in rehab, the judge also ordered Lohan to serve a total of 30 days of community labor. The actress was also ordered to attend 18 months of psychological therapy.
Lindsay Lohan didn’t make a very good first impression with Judge Dabney this morning. She was reportedly 45 minutes late to her scheduled court hearing. Lohan missed her flight from New York to Los Angeles on Sunday.
In order to get to court on time, the actress was flown from the East Coast to the West Coast courtesy of a private jet owned by energy drink company Mr. Pink. Lohan shared the news of her flight on Twitter. The tweet also served as a commercial for the company.
Thanks Mr. Pink for the private jet see you all in a few hours in LA @drinkmrpink @sheerazhasan
