Omarosa To Sue La Toya Jackson For Defamatory Comments About Fiance’s Death [Video]

Omarosa didn’t take too kindly to La Toya Jackson’s comments about her late fiancé, actor Michael Clarke Duncan, during Sunday night’s episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. Now the reality star is planning to sue the Jackson sibling for “false, vicious, and defamatory” comments.

On the “I’m Being Punked by a Jackson” episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, Omarosa learned that a news network was planning to release the 911 call made the day of Duncan’s heart attack last summer. Omarosa left the team to deal with the issue and ended up missing a majority of the week’s task.

Omarosa defended her decision to try and stop the tape from being released, saying, “I will never, ever choose Apprentice over Michael. I will never make that decision. And if I have to, and take care of my honey, I will.”

She added, “I will never apologize for what I had to do — having to hear the last moments of his life played out on national TV — I will never apologize for that.”

“Omarosa’s fiancé passed away not long ago. He had a heart attack – I’m sure she gave it to him,” Jackson said.

She went even further, telling the camera after she was fired, “She’s a conniving, scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Duncan Clarke … and I thought Mr. Trump was falling for that fake cry. ‘Michael, Michael.’ Such a lie!”

“Rev. Manigault has been heralded as a life saver for her actions on the evening that her fiancé suffered a life-ending heart attack,” Omarosa’s attorney told RadarOnline in a statement. “It is because of her bravery that Mr. Duncan — the love of Rev. Manigault’s life — was able to live for months beyond that tragic night. Mr. Duncan passed away from natural causes.”

The attorney added, “Ms. Jackson made the statement immediately after having been ‘fired’ off the show, and blames Rev. Manigault for her loss. It is repulsive and of the lowest level of class for Ms. Jackson, who showed herself to be a ‘sore loser’ in making these disgusting statements in the wake of Rev. Manigault’s tragic loss.”

Michael Clarke Duncan passed away on September 3, 2012, at the age of 54. He had previously suffered a heart attack in July, and Omarosa was credited with giving him life-saving CPR before the ambulance arrived.
