‘Battlefield 4’ Gets Official Reveal Date, Teaser Trailer
Battlefield 4 finally has an official unveiling date. EA has announced that they will be revealing details and a trailer about the fourth installment of their Battlefield series on March 27.
Over the weekend, a picture that was purported to be the cover art for the newest iteration of the game surfaced.
EA made no comment about the art and some wondered whether it was legitimate.
EA has now teased that their newest game will be officially unveiled on March 27 thanks to a tweet from the official Battlefield Twitter account.
The tweet shows a teaser trailer, that was posted on the social networking site Vine. The tweet read, “Straight from the video editing suite … prepare 4 Battle – 03.27! This sneak peek now, more soon.”
This is obviously not the official trailer, but it does indicate that we can expect one in about a week. EA had previously said that they would be showing off the game at an event on March 26.
Whether this now means that there will be a two-day reveal or that the official reveal has been pushed back a day remains to be seen.
Battlefield 4 has been officially confirmed as being released before April of 2014. While that seems a long way off, it could also mean that a March reveal is hinting at being ahead of schedule.

A release of the game for the 2013 Holiday shopping season only makes sense. Whatever is going to be revealed will apparently be done so at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference as that is going on over the period of time when this reveal is planned.
Are you excited for a Battlefield 4 update and will you be interested in buying a fourth installment of the series once it is made available?
