Mark-Paul Gosselaar Baby: ‘Saved By The Bell’ Star Expecting Third Child

Congratulations are in order for Mark-Paul Gosselaar and his wife Catriona McGinn.

According to Hollywood Life, the Saved by the Bell alum and his bride are expecting their first child together in September. Gosselaar has two other children — Michael, 9, and daughter Ava, 6 — from a previous marriage.

“We are all really excited for the arrival of our new addition,” Gosselaar, 39, told People magazine. “We’ve always wanted a big family. The kids are looking forward to a little sibling, and are asking a lot of funny questions right now.”

Gosselaar, who currently stars on Franklin & Bash, began dating McGinn in 2011. The couple tied the knot in July 2012 at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California after a year-long engagement.

“He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams,” Neil Lane, the jewelry designer who designed the engagement and wedding rings for Gosselarr and McGinn, said at the time. “He couldn’t wait to propose!”

Since getting hitched, Mark-Paul’s admitted his new bride, an advertising executive, is a natural at parenting and that his children are enamored with her.

“Catriona’s great with my kids,” Gosselaar told Us Weekly. “My kids absolutely adore her.”

Gosselaar, who will forever be remembered as Zack Morris, was previously married to model Lisa Ann Russell.

The two divorced in May 2011 after 15 years of marriage, and Russell is now married to Survivor host Jeff Probst.

Besides his leading role on Franklin & Bash, Gosselaar’s made guest appearances in several TV shows including Men at Work, Happy Endings, and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.

He’s also an extreme sports enthusiast and in 2005, he competed in the Far West Championships for track cycling.
