Kelly Osbourne Doing Better After Seizure, Jokes That Her Life Is Like ‘House’
Kelly Osbourne was doing much better Monday after suffering a seizure that sent her to the hospital last week.
The Fashion Police host was stabilized enough to return home, but doctors are still trying to figure out what caused her seizure on the set of the reality show Thursday. Possible causes ranged from an allergic reaction to epilepsy, but doctors will need to continue running tests before they can say for sure what led to the episode.
Around noon on March 7, Osbourne said she wasn’t feeling well before falling out of her chair and suffering a seizure that lasted about 30 seconds.
Sharon Osbourne updated The Talk viewers on her daughter’s health Monday morning, saying that the family was “blessed” that the seizure happened while the 28-year-old was filming so that they could show the footage to the neurologist to help determine the cause of the episode. She also had a message from her daughter.
“Kelly has asked me to thank everybody who sends their love to her and have reached out to her. We all believe in the power of positive thinking and sending good vibes,” Osbourne said. “We strongly believe in it in the Osbournes and we want to thank everyone. And I thank her doctors and I thank everyone at [Cedars-Sinai].”
A rep for Kelly Osbourne issued a statement to People Monday saying that she would remain in the hospital “as a precautionary measure.”
The rep added, “She is in good spirits and looking forward to getting back to her busy schedule.”
The singer and actress certainly was in good spirits despite the ordeal. She even joked about the incident on Twitter:
My life is now like an episode of House = the impending fight against death and the look of fear in everyones faces!

In the meantime, Kelly Osbourne will take anti-seizure medication while doctors try to figure out whether Thursday’s episode was an isolated incident or something else.
