Justin Bieber Fails To Sell Out Portugal Show, Bails On Paying Fans

Justin Bieber is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, unless you head to Portugal. The multi-platinum selling artist cancelled a concert this week after fans failed to sell out his second-night show.

Bieber was set to perform when a reported 40 percent of seats were left on the open market.

It is not uncommon for a musical artist to pull out of a show because of poor ticket sales. After all, a large scale performance costs a lot of money to stage, and guarantees are often made to the venue.

However, it is less common for a multi-platinum superstar like Justin Bieber to cancel a show because of poor sales numbers. Bieber sold out many of his North American shows in less than one minute each.

Bieber has not been having a very strange week. The singer collapsed on stage during a concert, has been spotted around town wearing gas masks, and even decided to wear a suit made out of skin.

Justin’s erratic behavior has left many fans questioning whether or not Bieber is having a Britney Spears type meltdown. The pop star has been in the limelight for a long time now, and it appears as if the pressures of his daily spotlighted life may be getting to him.

Bieber’s reps have not responded to the cancelled concert at this time.

The lack of ticket sales may have been a good enough reason to give Bieber a short break while in the midst of a tour that includes more than 120 concerts.

While Bieber will miss his March 12 concert in Portugal, he will still perform for a sold out concert on March 11.

Hopefully, fans on March 11 won’t have to wait 2 hours for Justin Bieber to show up as fans at London’s O2 arena had to wait last week.

Do you think Justin Bieber is teetering ever closer to a full scale Britney Spears style breakdown?
