Laura Dern Talks Returning For ‘Jurassic Park’ Sequel
In the beginning of the year we reported that Jurassic Park 4 looked like it was finally getting itself off the ground after spending years stalled. Now with Steven Spielberg on board to producer with Universal Pictures, casting seems to be underway.
With the Jurassic Park sequel greenlit, and casting looking to crop up, it’s only natural for fans to ask if favorite Laura Dern will return. Dernn’s last Jurassic Park film was in 2001. However, this is the first time that Dern has been busier than ever during a production. She currently stars in her own television show Enlightened and has another film in pre-production.
Don’t put the kibosh on Laura Dern just yet. When the actress was asked about her appearance in the Jurassic Park film she had this to say:
I know a little and it’s been ever-changing. It’s been evolving for many years as Steven has been considering it so that’s all I can say right now. Oh, I don’t know. We’ll see what they do. Right now we’re just focused on our party of this summer.”
Her little party she’s referring to is the upcoming Jurassic Park in 3D which is coming out April 5.
As for Jurassic Park 4 Steven Spielberg is still attached to produce, with Frank Marshall, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver having written the screenplay for the film.
