9-Year-Old Rapper Lil Poopy’s Raunchy Videos Spark Child Abuse Complaints
Luie Rivera, the father of 9-year-old rapper Luie Rivera Jr., a.k.a. Lil Booty, may soon be investigated by officials in Brockton, Massachusetts for child abuse.
According to UPI, officials in Brockton filed a complaint with the Department of Children and Families this week against Rivera over Lil Poopy’s raunchy music videos. Police believe that Rivera may be guilty of child abuse for subjecting his son to adult situations in his videos.
Police Lt. David Dickinson said: “It’s a bit much for a 9-year-old. It warrants the attention of the Department of Children and Families.”
Police officers in Brocktown aren’t the only ones who feel that the 9-year-old is being abused by his father.
Community activist Ollie Jay Spears said:
“It’s disgusting … With the girl bent over and the other girl grinding into him,. A 9-year-old with stacks of money and rapping about glorifying the drug trade, and demeaning women? A kid at the third- or fourth-grade level, talking about coke? It’s not entertaining. That’s borderline child abuse.”
The complaint was filed this weekend. The Department of Children and Families will now decide if it will investigate the matter.
Rivera said that his child isn’t “doing anything wrong” in the videos. Rivera also said that he’s planning to call a lawyer.
Rivera said, “I’ll call my lawyer first thing in the morning … He’s not doing anything wrong. He’s acting.”
