Simon Cowell Looking For A Girlfriend After Carmen Electra Breakup
Simon Cowell, 53, and Carmen Electra, 40, have broken up, and now the talent judge is looking for a new girlfriend.
Cowell told The Mirror, “I’m now a single man. We spent time together and she is so much fun. But I’d like to find a girlfriend.”
Before his relationship with Carmen Electra, Simon was engaged to American Idol make-up artist Mezghan Hussainy. He’s also dated British singer Sinitta Renet Malone and TV host Terri Seymour. He blames his hectic work schedule for his difficulty in maintaining a relationship.
“I do work a lot and it doesn’t leave me very long for women but I have lots of great friends, and great women in my life. I’m lucky that I have a lot of good people around me. That’s very important, especially when you do what I do.”
The two meet when Simon hired Carmen as a guest judge on the U.K. version of Got Talent. Electra toldAccess Hollywood, “The thing is, we worked together on Britain’s Got Talent. I was a guest judge and I had so much fun. I really liked him. I think he’s really cool.” When Simon was in Los Angeles working on X-Factor, Simon and Carmen started dating.
Simon and Carmen weren’t together long, and apparently, it was never very serious. Last December, he called into to On the Air with Ryan Seacrest to talk about X Factor. He confirmed that they were dating, but he also told Ryan Carmen wasn’t his girlfriend.
