Ben Affleck’s Argo is being singled out as the favorite to win best picture this year but some believe that Spielberg’s Lincoln will fare better among the Academy Award judges. Lincoln’s Daniel Day Lewis is the favorite to win best actor but Day Lewis could see a challenge from two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro.
For Best Actress, five women, ranging in ages from 9-years-old to 86-years-old, have a chance to take home an Oscar. Most people, however, have Jennifer Lawrence picked as a shoe in for Best Actress.
