Charlie Sheen Arrested For Beating His Wife

Charlie Sheen was arrested in Colorado Christmas morning on charges that he allegedly beat the sh*t out of his wife Brooke Mueller Sheen.

The Pitkin County Sheriff’s Department in Aspen said in a statement that officers had attended a home in area following a 911 call, and they arrested Sheen at the scene.

Sheen was charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief. After a short time in jail, he was released late in the day after posting $8,500 bond and being advised by a judge on the conditions of his release.

Sheen has along history with violence and drug issues. Along with shooting former fiance Kelly Preston, Sheen has previously been arrested on drugs charges. Former wife Denise Richards accused Sheen of beating her, although those charges were never proven in court.
