Justin Timberlake Books Week-Long Appearance On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’
Justin Timberlake has booked a week of appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience.
Timberlake will be appearing on the show every night from March 11 to March 15. NBC announced the news Thursday, and Timberlake confirmed the appearance on his website. The network said in a statement:
“Justin is confirmed to host and be musical guest on March 9th on SNL. It will be his 5th turn hosting. Then he will do a week of appearances on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” from March 11—15 (12:35 a.m. ET on NBC) where he will perform each night and Chat with Fallon. This is all to celebrate the launch of his third solo album, “The 20/20 Experience.” Timberlake is scheduled to perform each night and will sit down to chat with Fallon on Monday and Friday. His visit will mark the first time any featured artist has appeared in every show during a single week.”
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Timberlake and Fallon first paired up as the Bee Gees for “The Barry Gibb Talk Show” in 2003, and have reprised the roles several times on SNL. They have also teamed up for the “History of Raps” medleys, one of which was featured on Fallon’s Grammy-winning album “Blow Your Pants Off.” And when Fallon first took over Late Night, Timberlake appeared on the very first episode.
With The 20/20 Experience being his first studio album 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, it makes sense that Timberlake would hit the promotional trail as much as possible. He has announced surprise shows in London, as well as his “Legends of the Summer” tour with Jay-Z.
The 20/20 Experience is set to be released March 19, 2013.
