Gallon Smashing: Grocery Stores Hope Prank Video Doesn’t Go Viral
There may be a new internet fad on the horizon. Gallon smashing, the ridiculously inconsiderate act of smashing a gallon of milk in the aisles of a grocery store, is starting to get some attention on YouTube.
The original Gallon Smash Prank! video was uploaded to theCHAIZYchannel last week and already has more than 250,000 views.
There haven’t been any copycats yet but there have been stupider things copied on the internet. Remember planking? Eastwooding? Tebowing? Owling? If there’s a popular video on YouTube there are bound to be a few people who want to try and recreate it.
This prank, however, shouldn’t be recreated.
No one (to my knowledge) was ever hurt by planking. Sure, a hockey team got suspended last week for doing the Harlem Shake but that was a unique instance. Gallon smashing, however, is something completely different.
TheCHAIZYchannel writes that all of the store owners had a “good laugh” about the gallon smashing prank but it’s hard to imagine a store owner being happy with someone dumping milk over their floors.
Here’s the video of gallon smashing.
What do you think of the new prank?
