Josh Brolin, Diane Lane Getting Divorce
After eight years of marriage Josh Brolin and Diane Lane are getting a divorce.
Brolin and Lane were married in 2004 and have no children together. It was the second marriage for each.
Lane was previously married to Highlander actor Christopher Lambert. The pair have one daughter together and divorced in 1994.
Brolin was previously married to actress Alice Adair. They married in 1988 and divorced in 1994. The pair have two children together.
Josh Brolin and Diane Lane’s divorce was confirmed Thursday. Reps for the couple told US Weekly exclusively of the split, but no causes were cited.
The divorce should not come as a surprise. According US Weekly Brolin and Lane split up a couple of months ago.
Professionally the divorce should affect neither. Brolin was recently Academy Award nominated for his role of Dan White, Harvey Milk’s assassin, in Milk. He was most recently seen in Gangster Squad opposite Sean Penn.
Diane Lane was nominated for an Academy Award in 2002 for her starring role in Unfaithful. She will be seen this summer in Superman reboot, Man Of Steel.
With eight years of marriage together, there were plenty of good times between Brolin and Lane. In 2010 Brolin only had good things to say about Lane:
“I mean, check her out, man. My relationship with my wife is fantastic.”
Unfortunately, it’s rare that celebrity couples stay together very long. Having a marriage last eight years is actually really impressive by Hollywood standards.
