Joan Rivers On Dating Women: ‘I Might As Well Try It’ [Video]

Fashion Police critic and veteran comedian Joan Rivers is thinking about dating women, reasoning that she has nothing to lose at this point in her life.

The Celebrity Apprentice winner recalled that she locked lips with another woman very recently on the Season 3 premiere of her reality TV show Joan Melissa: Joan Knows Best? Rivers met the woman, referred to as “Shirl,” at a dinner party hosted by friends Lily Tomlin and Jane Lynch, reports MSN.

Rivers, who has been married twice before, confessed that she wasn’t sure whether or not she enjoyed kissing a woman, but hinted that she’s willing to find out. Discussing the kiss with her daughter Melissa, Rivers admits:

“It’s like the Katy Perry song: I kissed a girl and … I don’t know if I liked it or didn’t like it,” the 79-year-old said.

Then, during a Tuesday appearance on TODAY, Rivers delved into her potential interest in dating members of the fairer sex, adding that she feels she has nothing to lose.

“Lily Tomlin, who is my very good friend, she and Jane Lynch had a dinner party, and I met this lovely woman. At this point, all the men I go out with remind me of my father – dead … I figured I might as well try it at this point. Maybe I’ve been missing something.”
