One Direction Hires Personal Assistants, Boy Band ‘Getting Stressed Out’

One Direction is hiring personal assistants for the boy band Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik. One Direction’s new personal assistants will be in addition to their managers, publicists, financial advisers, stylists, asset managers, around-the-clock security and drivers.

The boys of One Direction were supposedly getting tired of managing their own lives. Perhaps they should spend more time relaxing and reading ancient Greek philosophy from Socrates, but their music label Sony Music has allowed One Direction to hire personal assistants.

According to Times of India, the One Direction personal assistant positions have already been filled, with an unnamed source explaining what the job will entail:

“The guys have incredibly manic professional and personal lives, and they started getting stressed out about their ever-increasing workload. Obviously the record label don’t want them burning out, so they came up with the idea of letting them appoint personal assistants. The idea is for the PAs to run their diaries on a day-to-day basis, and make sure they turn up to dentist appointments and photoshoots. With the world tour coming up, it is essential they are on top of everything and put under as little stress as possible.”

According to Heat World, Simon Cowell allowed the One Direction boys to interview for the position themselves and they’ve all opted for rather good-looking young ladies to be their personal assistants.
