Khloe Kardashian: ‘X-Factor’ Firing Compounded By Marriage Problems With Lamar Odom

With Khloe Kardashian being fired by The X-Factor, the famous sister has reached a professional low point, but it could still get worse in her personal life.

The reality star and now-former television host’s marriage with Lamar Odom is reportedly on the rocks, with the two in the midst of a trial separation. Odom has reportedly been partying and having flings with other women while Khloe was focusing on her work as host of The X-Factor.

“Apparently, Lamar is soooo fed up with living the Kardashian life that takes place in a constant KLIEG light! He’s reportedly been partying like crazy and even having flings with other women, and it’s crushing Khloe. Then, adding insult to injury, he was set to spent a few weeks on the road, and he allegedly asked Khloe to “back off and quit smothering him.” Enter the rumored “trial separation.’ “

Though her rocky marriage with Lamar Odom may not have been specifically a factor in Khloe Kardashian being fired from The X Factor, critics noted that she never appeared at ease on camera.

“I am sure there was a big percentage of Khloe’s fans who followed her to ‘X Factor.'” LA hosting expert Marki Costello, who has provided on-camera coaching for The Voice judge Cee Lo Green among others, told the New York Post. “But at the end of the day, when she doesn’t know what she is doing, are you helping your show or hurting it?

“It was really hard for me to watch Mario with her,” she said. “It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable.”

Others have questioned whether Khloe Kardashian getting fired from The X-Factor could be the beginning of the end of the Kardashian reign on television, given that none of the sisters appear to be talented outside of their reality show. The Stir noted that Khloe has no other television experience, and no projects in the works outside of some product endorsement.
