Maya Rudolph Pregnant, Expecting Fourth Child [Report]
Maya Rudolph is pregnant! The actress is reportedly expecting her fourth child with writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson.
The actress has allegedly informed NBC of her pregnancy, which could signal the cancellation of the series Up All Night.
A rep for Rudolph declined to comment on the reported pregnancy, though it was confirmed by sources at NBC, according to Yahoo! TV.
The actress and her partner are already parents to Pearl, 7, Lucille, 3, and Jack, 19 months. Rudolph recently revealed that her focus since becoming a mother has rested solely on her family. She stated last year:
“Before I had children, everything about my life was devoted to Saturday Night Live. It’s really difficult to be there for anyone else in your life when you’re doing the show because of the hours it demands.”
Maya Rudolph’s pregnancy would throw another kink into Up All Night’s production. The show recently lost Cristina Applegate, who exited the series for creative reasons, notes Us Magazine.
Along with SNL and Up All Night, Maya Rudolph has also appeared in the movies Bridesmaids, Friends WithKids, Grown Ups, and Away We Go. When joking about motherhood, Rudolph stated in 2011:
“I keep hearing about this elusive ‘date night’ where people actually have it together enough to go somewhere. I think the last date night we had was eating a bowl of cereal at my kitchen table …”
Rudolph’s partner, Anderson, is known for films like Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, and The Master. He is nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Writers Guild of America Awards.
