Jennifer Aniston Joins Owen Wilson In ‘She’s Funny That Way’

For those of you who thought Jennifer Aniston’s 2011 raunchy turn in Horrible Bosses was fleeting, think again. Jennifer Aniston has a long line of comedies awaiting, and one of them entails teaming up with funny man Owen Wilson.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the announcement of Aniston’s attachment to She’s Funny That Way is fresh off the presses. Formerly known as Squirrel to Nuts, this film sees Wilson as a married Broadway producer who finds his mind wandering to a prostitute turned actress, who he wants to help out with a legitimate career.

Aniston and Owen won’t stand on their own. The long list of names for this cast includes, Jason Schwartzman, Cybill Shepherd, Eugene Levy, Kathryn Hahn and Brie Larson. No word on who the young prostitute will be, but it’s not going to be Jennifer Aniston.

No matter the role it should be a promising one for Aniston, since she will be under the thumb up director Peter Bogdanovich of The Last Picture Show, and Paper Moon fame. As of right now Aniston is reportedly set to play the therapist whose mother is an alcoholic in rehab.

Another raunchy comedy turn sees Jennifer Aniston opposite Jason Sudeikis as a hooker wife in We’re the Millers. As some of you may remember, Aniston shared somewhat of a hilarious scene with Sudeikis in Horrible Bosses.

She’s Funny That Way is set to begin production in June in New York.
