Taylor Swift Nervous Moments Before Opening The Grammys

In a half hour the world will watch Taylor Swift open the Grammy Awards for the first time. With that amount of pressure, it’s no wonder that Swift is a teeny bit worried about being nervous during her show opening performance. Swift, who recently celebrated her 23 birthday, revealed she wasn’t as composed as she expected.

Taylor Swift told E!’s Ryan Seacrest while on the red carpet about the impending performance: “I hope I don’t nerve out and freak out. Opening up the Grammys is something I’ve never done before, something I never dreamed I’d get to do.”

Of course, Swift will also be at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards to celebrate her nominations. Already a winner tonight for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Civil Wars, Taylor is also nominated for another two awards. Speaking about her nominations, Swift said, “I’m fine with one, but if they want to give me more, I’m totally cool with that, too!”

What seems to be on her fans minds is her relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles. Even though the relationship is very much “on” right now, it’s unknown whether the duo is set to appear together tonight. However, it’s been hypothesized that Swift might sing her supposed revenge song that she wrote in the heat of the moment of her break up with Styles. If not, it’s a pretty sure bet that she will be singing her hit song “I Knew You Were Trouble” which is after another, much older ex, Jake Gyllenhaal.
