Mila Kunis Admits Shameful Fashion Secret, Loves Old Navy Cargos From The 90s
Mila Kunis is one of the lucky women on Earth to have located her fashion spirit animal — the item of clothing you discover while not looking that you form an irrational, closely-bonded and co-dependent relationship — and it’s not a designer hoodie or pricey pair of jeans.
No, Mila Kunis‘ most valuable item of clothing isn’t that valuable at all — in price, anyway. The Black Swan star was fortunate enough to find style love a decade and a half ago, and like most love, it was lurking where she least expected it: Old Navy.
To say Old Navy is hit or miss is, in the opinion of many, a bit conservative with the criticism. In recent years, cuts at the Gap family of stores haven’t seemed to evolve with the times, and most of the clothing does not wear well or last very long. But Mila Kunis located a definite exception in the 90s, and girlfriend is not letting go.
Kunis tells mag InStyle about her desert-island garment, and describes a love only a select few of us are lucky enough to know:
“I’ve been wearing the same pair of dark green Old Navy cargo pants, like, non-stop, for 15 years … I think I paid $4.99, on clearance. My friends hate them so much they hide them from me. When those pants fall apart, I swear I’m going to get someone to copy them for me.”
While Mila and her pants have been together for a long time, it’s not all comfy cargos — the star says:
“I spent a lot of [a] shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in a costume that weighed 10 pounds. I hear some women enjoy wearing a corset, but tell them to try 17 hours of that and then get back to me.”
