‘Real Housewife’ Dina Manzo Announces Split

Looks like Dina Manzo won’t be a real housewife for long. The former Real Housewife cast member is taking that “former” title seriously. Manzo, 34, revealed that she’s separated from her husband Tommy Manzo after seven years of marriage.

How did Dina Manzo announce her split from her husband? The reality star took to Twitter to break her silence. To the shock of many of her former viewers, Manzo tweeted that she’s been separated since October: “My secret, I have been separated since October. My heart hurts but Tommy & I will always share a very special love. So grateful for the support of my loved ones during this time, especially my spiritual friends. You know who u are xoxo.”

She later tweeted:

“And of course my biggest supporter Lexi, Tommy adores her & they will remain close.”

Dina’s first appearance on reality television wasn’t with the Real Housewives, but rather with My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. The show documented her lavish wedding to then husband Tommy Manzo back in 2005. However, despite being on the VH1 show, Tommy never took part in the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Reportedly, Dina met her husband through her older sister, Caroline Manzo, who still appears on the show, and is married to Tommy’s brother, Albert Manzo. Looks like that connection may cause a few awkward Italian dinners. Then again, the two sisters were said to be estranged as of 2011, but there’s no word on whether or not that rift is still on.

Previously, the reality stay was married to George Hadjiapostoli, and she has a 17-year-old daughter with him.
