Lindsay Lohan Didn’t Realize She Owed Former Lawyer $150,000
Lindsay Lohan is claiming she had no idea that her former attorney Shawn Holley was owed $150,000 in attorney bills.
Friends of Lohan tell TMZ that the former A-list star only recently learned about her legal bill troubles. In response, Lohan says she has placed Holley at the top of her creditor’s list.
How Lindsay Lohan didn’t know about her mounting legal bills is hard to understand. Various publications for weeks have been reporting about Lohan’s six figure legal troubles.
Lohan recently fired Shawn, and her new attorney showed up in court with a lucky rabbit’s foot and then tried to flatter Judge Sautner. Sources now claim that Lohan has been begging Shawn Holley to return as her attorney.
Holley, in the meantime, is having no part of Lohan’s pleas and has already moved on to new clients.
Lohan is currently earning money from public appearances, a few low paying acting gigs, and several endorsements. Unfortunately, the actress has also been spending money on first class plane tickets, five star hotels, high-end restaurants, designer clothing, and high-priced rental properties. Lohan is also paying off $130,000 in back taxes.
Legal troubles are still mounting for Lohan, and she will return to court on March 1. At her next court date, Lohan could be found in violation of her probation. If found in violation of her jewelry theft agreement, Lohan could face real jail time and other penalties.
With legal bills still piling up and acting jobs few and far between, we could soon see the bottoming out of Lindsay Lohan’s career and depleting money supply.
