‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ Unleashes Another Clip [Video]
20th Century Fox really wants you to see A Good Day to Die Hard when it arrives in theaters this February.
In order to keep the online buzz building, the studio has unleashed yet another clip from director John Moore’s upcoming Die Hard sequel. Veteran action star Bruce Willis returns to the franchise he helped bring to life way back in 1988.
The latest outing finds John McClane traveling to Russia in order to save his son. When he gets to Moscow, the grizzled New York City detective discovers that his offspring is actually a government agent who knows how to blow things up just like his father.
The studio describes the film as follows:
“Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane for the first time finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack — unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.”
The last time John McClane racked up a body count was in director Len Wiseman’s 2007 sequel Live Free or Die Hard. The film managed to earn around $134 million at the box once when all was said and done. Globally, the film took in over $300 million. 20th Century Fox is no doubt hoping this one performs just as well.
When Bruce Willis is finished promoting A Good Day to Die Hard, he’ll begin pushing a handful of other sequels also slated to arrive this year. In addition to Red 2, Willis is slated to star in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s highly-anticipated Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
