Kim K. On Kimmel: I Want To Keep My Baby’s Life Private

Kim K. appeared on Kimmel this week and made a somewhat startling revelation — she wants to maintain a level of privacy for her yet-to-be-born baby.

Kim Kardashian appeared on Jimmy Kinmel Live alongside sister Kourtney Kardashian to promote the new season of their E! reality series, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. The 32-year-old Kim K. talked with Kimmel about the baby she’s expecting with boyfriend Kanye West, saying that she doesn’t want to force the little one into the reality television life she’s chosen for herself, Us Weekly noted.

Coming from a person who has spent much of her adult life in front of television cameras, it was a somewhat surprising admission.

“When the baby is old enough and she or he decides that’s what they want to do, then that will be a decision,” Kim K. told Kimmel. “From the start, as of now, that’s just a personal choice that Kanye and I have made,” she said. “We’re going to try to keep it as private as possible.”

It’s not the same decision that Kourtney made for her family. Her children, Mason and Penelope, have appeared on television and in magazine spreads. Kim K. said she doesn’t seem to mind her niece and nephew appearing on television.

“I love seeing Mason and Penelope on TV,” she said. “Mason is the highlight of our show, I think.”

While she may want to keep her baby’s life private, Kim K. and her family have opened up about her pregnancy. Mom Kris Jenner has talked about how Kim is handling the pregnancy and giving in to some of her cravings.

“She’s craving Pizookies… it’s a giant cookie and I think it’s at BJs [Brewhouse] and I think it has ice cream on top, but right now it’s all about the Pizookies,” Kris told E! on Tuesday.

Kim K. made other revelations on Kimmel, including that the pregnancy came as a bit of a surprise to her and Kanye West.
