Frank Ocean Will Press Charges Against Chris Brown
Frank Ocean has revealed that he intends to press charges against Chris Brown following their scuffle outside of a recording studio on Sunday evening.
The pair reportedly got into an argument over a parking space at the studio, before it then turned into a six-man battle. The local sheriff was then called after witnesses caught Brown punching Ocean during the ordeal.
Ocean then took to Twitter and claimed that he was “jumped,” before declaring that his injuries would affect his performance at the Grammys, next month. Ocean tweeted, “Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. Lol. I only wish [Ocean’s dog] Everest was there. Cut my finger now I cant play with two hands at the Grammys.”
A spokesperson for the LA Country sheriffs has revealed that even though no charges have been filed against Brown, Ocean “is desirous of prosecution in this incident.” Brown has yet to comment on the incident directly, but on Twitter he showed off a picture of Jesus on the cross with the caption, “Painting the way I feel today.” He has since taken the image down.
Ocean and Brown have had several altercations in the past, as the duo have exchanged volatile words on Twitter for several years. Ocean also once posted footage of Brown’ cousin chasing him in his car online.
Later on this month, Brown and Ocean will compete for supremacy at the Grammys, where they are both nominated for the best urban contemporary album award.
