Burt Reynolds Released From Hospital
Burt Reynolds has left the hospital.
The mustachioed actor was admitted to the hospital last week with a bad case of the flu. The actor was then moved to the ICU after doctor’s determined that Reynolds was severely dehydrated.
Reynolds, 76, spent the weekend in the ICU but according to his manager, Erik Kritzer, the actor was released from the hospital today and is feeling fine.
Kritzer told the Sun Sentinel:
“Burt has been released from the hospital. (He’s) doing much better. He wants to thank all of you for your caring concern.”
On the Red Carpet reports that the actor had another health scare back in 2010 when he underwent quintuple heart bypass surgery.
In addition to having the manliest mustache in show business, Reynolds is best known for his roles in Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance, and Boogie Nights. His recently been doing some voice acting on TV shows like American Dad and Archer but will make his return to the big screen next year in the movie Standby.
