‘Teen Mom 2’ May Be Ending Because Of Jenelle Evans
Jenelle Evans’ recent drama may spell the end for Teen Mom 2.
According to the New York Post, Teen Mom 2 is shutting down production following Evans recent erratic behavior. From getting pregnant a second time, getting married, suffering a miscarriage and stating that she was seeking a divorce via Twitter, Evans has become a liability for the series.
Perhaps the straw that broke the camel’s back for the producers is the fact that Evans practically live tweeted her miscarriage, just to act like nothing happened a few hours later when she went to a bar with ex-fiancé Gary Head.
Sources said Evans behavior is jeopardizing the show, which tries to be a cautionary tale about the hardships of being a teen or young adult mother. The producers are also still trying to bounce back from the bad press that Amber Portwood brought to the series last year.
But Evans’ behavior has been more than the producers can handle. Evans has been arrested seven times on charges including assault, breaking and entering, possession of drugs and violation of probation. She has also filed assault charges against her husband, Courtland Rogers. She was also sent to rehab for a second time.
Ashley Majeski, editor of The Ashleys Reality Roundup, said, “Jenelle is nothing but bad publicity for MTV. She feeds off the public and the recognition of the fans, and I don’t see why they would want to have anything to do with that.”
Teen Mom 2 is currently in its third season. A fourth and final season has already been filmed, and will be airing later this year.
