Justin Bieber Song ‘Nothing Like Us’ Chronicles Selena Gomez Split
Justin Bieber’s latest song “Nothing Like Us” is reportedly about his famous split with singer and actress Selena Gomez.
Since strong emotions often inspire great works of art, it’s not surprising that Bieber and Gomez have been using their broken hearts to create new music. According to Us Weekly, the Canadian pop star’s tune “Nothing Like Us” is all about his break-up with the Spring Breakers star.
An anonymous insider explained:
“It tells the whole story about how he broke up with her, she begged him to take her back, and then he decided he was done for good. This is his answer to Selena.”
During a recent interview with MTV News, Gomez cryptically explained that her break-up with Bieber had an impact on the recording of her latest record.
She told the website:
“I think for me it was actually interesting to see that towards the middle of me recording my record, a big turn happened to me and it was incredible to see how I applied that to music because I’ve never done that before and it’s great.”
So is the Justin Bieber song “Nothing Like Us” really about Selena Gomez? Since the man himself hasn’t commented officially on the tune, it’s really up to interpretation.

Justin explained:
“There’s so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won’t pick up the phone or I’m chasing her down, and these are all fake stories. I don’t go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely.”
