Back in October we reported that Kris Jenner may get her own talk show. Now that’s looking like a bigger reality more than ever. According to Deadline , the news of Jenner getting her own talk show is official.
The show will be part of Twentieth Television like expected and the one-hour talk show is titled Kris. It’s said that Kris Jenner will head it up and that a test run, much like the model that was used for Bethenny Frankel’s daytime show, will start in the New York and Los Angeles markets.
Will Kris Jenner spend a full-hour talking about her family? It doesn’t look likely. Jenner’s daytime show will feature celebrities, fashion and beauty trends and a complete mix of lifestyle topics making up a well-balanced show.During the announcement Jenner, who’s no stranger to reality television said: “This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!”
The Senior VP of Programming over at Fox Television, Frank Cicha added:
“Wouldn’t be summer without at least one test, would it? In all seriousness, we go into this believing that if it works, the Kris Jenner program could really compliment what we’ve got going with Wendy, Bethenny, etc.”
Kris Jenner’s daytime talk show is said to be given a six-week test run on Fox stations. In sadder news for Twentieth Television, it’s unlikely that Ricki Lake’s new show will continue for another season. However, that just makes more room for Jenner’s show.
Will you be tuning in if the show gets picked up for mass market?
