Bill Clinton Photobombs Kelly Clarkson During Inauguration 2013 [Photo]
Bill Clinton’s inauguration photobomb of Kelly Clarkson is, perhaps, one of the best we’ve seen in a while.
Former President Clinton attended the inauguration ceremony of President Obama on Monday and apparently took the opportunity to photobomb Kelly Clarkson.
Clarkson, a former American Idol winner, was present to sing her rendition of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” reports The New York Post.
While it’s possible the former president may not have intended to place himself in such an awkward photobomb-perfect position, we can’t help but think the photo will be the latest meme to go viral on the internet. After all, there will be plenty of jokes to make about the former president appearing to check out a beautiful woman.
The Clinton photobomb was posted to Twitter by Doug Gordon. Gordon describes himself as a Brooklyn documentary TV producer.
Clarkson also documented her day at the inauguration festivities, though made no mention of the accidental (we think?) photobomb by the 42nd President of the United States. Clarkson wrote on Twitter:
“Wow….I was incredibly nervous and cold ha! I jus twanna officially thank President Obama for opening for me haha! Just Kidding :)”
The American Idol winner also posed for a photo with Obama and spent time with Beyonce. She continued about the experience, “What an honor to be a part of history! Obama’s presence was powerful and his words unforgettable. It’s a proud day for America!”
Of course, it’s likely that Clarkson will be a part of history for another reason — the Bill Clinton photobomb.
