‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ Image Unleashes The Destructive Power Of John McClane [Photo]
In case you haven’t heard, Max Payne director John Moore’s A Good Day to Die Hard is headed to theaters next month. To keep the buzz going, a new picture has been unleashed upon the internet.
The latest image released by 20th Century Fox features Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney casually walking away from one very messy explosion. Mixed in the fiery rubble are pieces of a helicopter and other decimated vehicles. Judging from the smiles on the elder McClane’s face, he couldn’t be happier with the results of their work.
According to Hey You Guys, Willis and Courtney will be joined by Yuliya Snigir, Cole Hauser, and Sebastian Koch. Live Free or Die Hard alum Mary Elizabeth Winstead will reprise her role as Lucy McClane in the upcoming action flick.
The film’s official synopsis reads as follows:
“Bruce Willis is back as iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, who for the first time finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack (Jai Courtney) — unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.”
Entertainment Weekly reports that A Good Day to Die Hard has received an R-rating from the MPAA. This is certainly good news for franchise fanatics who felt the last installment in the series was watered-down to receive a PG-13 rating. Since films are known for the foul language and graphic violence, fans should be quite happy with the announcement.
