Charlie Sheen To Be A Grandfather At 47
Bad boy Charlie Sheen is going to be a grandpa, the star has confirmed — and since kids didn’t slow down the actor’s notorious hard-partying ways, it’s unlikely the star will chill once his grandchild arrives.
Sheen revealed he will become a grandfather last night on David Letterman’s show, reporting that his 28-year-old daughter, Cassandra Estevez, is pregnant. And while Sheen, 47, readily admits that his days as a grandfather are rapidly approaching, the baby’s guaranteed Adonis DNA hasn’t been much of a consolation in facing the inevitable.
Sheen admitted he would be a grandfather soon when Letterman quipped:
“You are going to be, in the next several months … fill in the blanks … You are going to be a … “
Charlie replied:
“Grandfather.”
Sheen admitted being a grandfather would be “fabulous,” but also said of the weighty role:
“[It’s] not a title I’m ready to adopt.”
The idea of a world where Charlie Sheen is a grandpa is bizarre indeed — and if you think it’s funny, the women in the bad boy’s life seem to be having some fun with the news as well.
After Sheen admitted the gossip to Letterman, ex-wife and, we suppose, ex-step-grandma Denise Richards ribbed her former love on Twitter, joking to followers:
I guess some of you have heard… @charliesheen is going to be a Grampa…yes GRAMPA! his beautiful daughter Cassandra is gonna be a mama..

Sheen tweeted before the appearance, without mentioning the grandfather bit:
Walking out on stage to do Letterman right now!Watch tonight!!Gonna talk about #WINNING..!

Although Sheen is set to be a grandfather this year, he is also father to three-year-old sons himself with ex Brooke Mueller.
