‘Terminator 2’ Actor Edward Furlong Arrested For Domestic Violence Again
Terminator 2 actor Edward Furlong was arrested this past weekend on domestic violence charges following an incident with his girlfriend. This is the 35-year-old actor’s third arrest in less than four months.
Furlong was taken into custody Sunday at 5:45 am, with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies citing a “boyfriend/girlfriend disturbance,” according to RadarOnline.
He was booked into in Men’s Central Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. He had also had an outstanding $30,000 warrant for violating his probation from a previous incident.
Furlong had been arrested on similar charges in October. He and his girlfriend got into an argument at Los Angeles International Airport, and he was spotted grabbing her arm. Police noticed that she had visible marks on her arm and placed Furlong under arrest. Furlong was arrested again less than a month later in connection with assault on the same woman.
Furlong’s ex-wife, Rachael Kneeland, filed for divorce in July 2009, citing irreconcilable differences. A few months later, she said that Furlong was in lockdown after being violent with her. A year later, she was granted a restraining order against him and claimed that he threatened to commit suicide and refused to undergo drug testing. She also accused him of owing more than $15,000 in child support for their son, Ethan.
Last year, Furlong was mugged in the “Skid Row” section of Los Angeles. He said he was asking for directions when his wallet was snatched. He flagged down a police officer and reported the crime, and was able to get his wallet back a couple of days later.
