Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis Are Engaged
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have gotten engaged.
This will be the second marriage for both; Wilde was married to Italian filmmaker Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011, and Sudeikis was married to 30 Rock writer Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010.
Sources told RadarOnline that that the couple had gotten engaged in mid-December and had booked a wedding venue in Kansas City, Sudeikis’ hometown. However, People reported Saturday that Sudeikis had proposed shortly after the holidays.
A source told Us, “He finally found the one that made him want to commit. They’ve both been through it before and this has just felt right from the get go. Everyone is happy for them.”
Wilde said that she learned about herself following her divorce.
“Learning to be by myself and be OK with it, and not need the validation of another human being, that has been the biggest challenge,” she said. “But I know coming out of that, I’ll be a better person — and a better partner — eventually, for someone.”
There had been rumors in December that Wilde and Sudeikis were breaking up after a rough patch, but apparently those were false. The two began dating in December 2011, and Wilde admitted that she was “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love” with Sudeikis in October 2012 at an event for Glamour magazine.
Wilde will be appearing in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone in March, and Rush in September. Sudeikis will be starring in Epic in May and We’re the Millers with Jennifer Aniston in August.
Congratulations to Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis on their engagement.
