Ryan Gosling’s Mom Wore Eva Mendes’ Clothes To ‘Gangster Squad’ Premiere

Ryan Gosling brought his mother, Donna, to the premiere of his latest movie Gangster Squad last night, but apparently she didn’t have time to purchase new clothes for the event, as she had to borrow garments from her son’s girlfriend, Eva Mendes.

Talking to E! News Donna revealed, “I’m wearing Eva Mendes. She let me raid her closet.”But that shouldn’t be too much of a concern for the sultry actress as she is extremely close to Gosling’s mother.

A source told US Weekly, “Donna and Eva get along really, really well. Donna wants Ryan to settle down and Eva is all about getting him on that train too, so they’re both on the same page.”

Gosling was overcome with emotion when asked to describe what made his mother the perfect date, stating, “I mean, where do I start? That’s an impossible answer. She’s amazing!”

Ryan and Eva are believed to have been friends for years, but finally hooked up with one another during the filming of the movie, The Place Beyond Pines, in 2011, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength over the last 18 months.

Last month rumors swirled that the duo were preparing for parenthood after they were seen spending time with the two-week daughter of the owner of Brooklyn’s Pies N’ Thighs restaurant. Afterwards an onlooker stated, “Ryan held the baby and patted him while talking with pals. He was a natural! He and Eva took turns holding the little one.”
