‘Zero Dark Thirty’s’ Chris Pratt’s Premature Son ‘Healthy’

There’s always some worry that a child born premature is in for a hard road, but, according to Zero Dark Thirty’sChris Pratt, his son is “totally healthy now.”

Pratt, who also stars on Parks and Recreation, welcomed baby boy Jack with wife and actress Anna Faris. Their baby Jack is said to be hitting huge mile stones now that he’s out of the dark. According to Pratt, son Jack, who was born two months premature, “recently started laughing.”

Pratt continued to gush about his healthy son during a Wednesday appearance on Late Show with David Letterman to promote Zero Dark Thirty: “Oh, God, he is just, he’s amazing. I love him so much. He’s just a ball of joy. He’s terrific.”

Explaining the long journey for the whole Pratt family, Chris said of the whole ordeal, “He was born nine weeks premature, so we spent a month in the intensive care unit with him. But he’s totally healthy now. He is just so perfect and I love him so much.”

While they were still dating, Chris Pratt said of his future wife Anna Faris to PEOPLE: “I knew I wanted to marry her pretty soon [after I met her.] It took a while for me to admit it, because it would be crazy to be like, ‘I want to marry you’ the first day I met her. But I could have!”
